Welcome to Little Legacies Embroidery and Monogramming. We offer monograms, embroidery and appliques on clothing for children, adults, linens and towels. Our recently launched website seeks to simulate the feeling of shopping in our store firsthand. We offer customers choices of thread color and fabrics for appliques on the website, but we also seek to provide choices in fabrics , thread colors and appliques that are not featured on the website. We encourage customers to use our comment sections to send us links to appliques and fonts that they find on their own.
What can we do for you?
After I have selected a garment and an applique, how do I select fabrics for my appliques on the Shop Page?
1. Note of the applique part names in the applique description and the names of the fabric you have chosen from our fabric choices.
2. In the Notes on the Shop Page, type the ‘part name’ of the applique and its corresponding fabric name.
(Ex: “princess dress = Pink Floral Print Fabric” or “truck tire = Black Canvas Fabric” or “truck body= Red Gingham Fabric” etc.)
3. Press the “Add to Cart” button to save any changes.
What if I see an applique file online somewhere that I really like, but no monogrammer has it?
Email us at littlelegacies@gmail.com and leave us a link to the file. We purchase applique (dst) files many times for our store when walk-in customers find something they like online and sew it out for them! Why not for the online customer?
Does Little Legacies only monogram and applique for children and babies?
No. We monogram logos on business attire, on towels for bathrooms and beach, on dinner napkins for place sets, on back to school backpacks for school and on pillow shams for living rooms and bedrooms. We will be adding business attire, bathroom and bedroom products and dining room items to our website in the near future. -Stay Tuned-
What is the process for setting up the monogram once I have selected a garment to monogram?
- Select the font to be used from the Fonts.
- Type a person’s initials into the Text box (first name initial lowercase), (last name initial uppercase), (middle name initial lower case) in that order.
- Ex. John Paul Smith would be ‘j S p’
- Select the color.
- Select the size (small, medium or large).
- In the Notes, type out the person’s full name so we can make sure the initials are correct and where on the garment the monogram is to be placed.
- Save all changes with the Add to Cart button.
